Facility 3950 is unique to ComCor in numerous ways. First of all, it is the Diversion facility for clients who are sentenced to Community Corrections instead of prison time. Diversion clients are the most difficult clients to work with. We are proud of the fact that our Successful Completion rate among this population currently sits at 55%, while the national average is 38%. Two other unique features of 3950 is that we house the Community Responsibility Program (CRP) for convicted sex offenders and we also house all of the females assigned to ComCor.
The CRP clients are sent to us as an alternative to prison. They are required to serve a minimum of 4 years at our facility while they attend one of the most intensive Sex Offender programs (CRP) in the Criminal Justice system. Our female clients are a mix of Diversion clients, COP or Condition of Parole clients serving their post-sentence Community Corrections time and Intensive Rehabilitation Therapy (IRT) participants. The IRT clients participant in a very extensive 90-day Cognitive-Behavioral Drug and Alcohol Treatment program. During this time, they are forbidden leisure passes, employment and have restricted visiting hours. Their whole focus is on their program.
Another unique feature to the 3950 Diversion facility is that we are the only ComCor facility that houses Federal clients. At this point, we only house Federal pre-trial clients but will be vying for Federal Condition of Probation clients, to include Residential Drug Abuse Program aftercare clients.
