You will be residing in a room with other clients, and you must keep personal belongings to a minimum. We require that you keep no more than ten sets of clothes in your room, in addition to socks and underwear. If it is discovered that your personal belongings are in excess, you will be required to remove these items . Televisions and radios are permitted, but we do impose restrictions on the size of these items. You are allowed any item of property that is not on the contraband list and that can reasonably fit into your personal living space up to the limit of $300.00. You determine the value of your property.
ComCor provides locks and keys to all clients. If you lose your lock or key, you will be assessed a replacement fee. We suggest that you do not bring valuable items to the facility, because ComCor will not be responsible for lost or stolen items. All personal property that is brought to the facility must be identified to the client specialist staff, and placed on your personal inventory form.
Residential Contraband List
The following contraband list has been broken down according to severity in relation to the prohibited acts. ComCor,
Inc. reserves the right to increase or decrease the level of severity associated to any item deemed to be contraband.
Condition 102: Possession of Safe and Secure Property (Dangerous Contraband)
1. Dangerous instruments, i.e., firearms; knives or other weapons; ammunition for any weapon; incendiary or
explosive devices; or any substances which are readily capable of causing or inducing fear of death or bodily
injury
2. Any material or item that is labeled poison, combustible, or hazardous is considered dangerous contraband
3. Any illegal drug, including marijuana, CBD, THC in any form (flower, wax, dabs, concentrate, edibles, etc.)
4. Any unauthorized prescription medication
5. Any malt (beer), vinous (wine), or spirituous liquor and other liquors what are produced by the fermentation of
yeast, sugars, and starches
6. Any glue, paints, butane, plastics, foam materials, or substance that may be used to produce an impaired mental
state
7. Any drug paraphernalia such as roach clips, bongs, needles, incense, syringes, cigarette rolling paper, pipes,
pipe cleaners, items modified from their intended use that could reasonably be assumed to be makeshift
paraphernalia, etc
8. Any counterfeit or forged ID cards or documents
9. Any items that, in the opinion of ComCor, Inc. staff, are or could be potentially dangerous or detrimental to the
well-being of staff, residents, or visitors
Condition 202: Possession of Safe and Secure Property (Major Contraband)
1. Any item(s) that could be interpreted as promoting gang activity. This includes clothing with gang-related
messages or meanings, such as bandanas, profanity, or items that promote drug or alcohol use.
2. Unauthorized ID cards or documents, or any ID cards or documents belonging to another person unless authorized
3. Any picture, photograph, drawing, sculpture, motion picture film, or similar visual representation or image of a
person or portion of the human body which depicts sexually explicit nudity, sexual conduct or sadomasochistic
abuse intended to provoke sexual arousal or stimulation; or any printed material, sound recording which contains
any matter previously mentioned or explicit verbal description or narrative accounts of sexual excitement, sexual
conduct, or sadomasochistic abuse intended to provoke sexual arousal or stimulation. This includes images and

movies on electronic devices. If the person in possession of any of the items listed above is a person convicted of
a sex offense, this charge may be elevated to a #102 – Dangerous Contraband
4. Any unauthorized cellphone, tablet, or laptop OR any cellphone, tablet, laptop or other device with an unobscured
camera (dark fingernail polish over the camera lens). In the event that any illegal material or evidence of illegal
activity is found to be on the device in question, this charge may be elevated to a #102 – Dangerous Contraband
5. Any liquid cough syrup or medicine containing pseudoephedrine i.e. Sudafed
6. Baking soda, charcoal tablets, vinegar, bleach, detox drinks or supplements, and “health supplements” such as
niacin, herbal supplements or vitamins such as Kratom or Kava (Yogi brand Kava tea, for example), or any sleep
aids.
7. Any item or substance that is intended to obscure the results of urinalysis tests.
8. Tattoo guns and tattoo ink, whether manufactured or improvised
9. EBT/SNAP cards
10. Any vape pens, vape mods, or vape accessories, including vape juice, extra/replacement coils, and e-cigarettes
Expectation 402: Proper Use of Only Appropriate Items (Minor Contraband)
1. Lottery Tickets
2. Scissors exceeding 3” in length; any tool which could be used to cut, dig, pry, or file; chains or ropes;
3. Mouthwash containing alcohol
4. Unauthorized weightlifting equipment
5. Any electrical appliance/device which requires 1250 watts of electricity or more, including but not limited to,
refrigerators, hot plates, microwave ovens, coffee makers/warmers, hair dryers, television sets
6. Lamps, with the exception of small personal clip-on lamps.
7. Plastic storage bins
8. Laundry baskets or hampers
9. Cardboard boxes
10. Luggage
11. Perishable food stored longer than 24 hours or undated food
12. Non-facility issued pillows
13. Non-facility issued linens (blankets, sheets, or pillowcases)
14. Speakers (wired or wireless)
15. Coolers (except for lunch box size)
16. Any furniture that is not the property of ComCor (including chairs or bedside tables)
17. Auto parts, tools, or utility knives
18. More than 1 small plush toy or stuffed animal per client
19. More than 10 DVDs/video games per client or burned discs.
20. Clothing in excess of: 10 sets of clothes, 4 coats or jackets, 5 pairs of shoes
21. Anything labeled flammable, dangerous, toxic
22. Any surge protector, extension cord, or multi-plug outlet adaptor
23. Rugs
24. Cameras of any type
25. Energy drinks (Red Bull, Monster, 5 Hour Energy, etc.)
26. Any unidentifiable substance not in its original container
27. TV’s greater than 24 inches and only one TV per room (No tvs allowed at RRRF facility)
28. Any item that could be identified as being detrimental to the good order, and/or discipline of COMCOR, Inc.,
although not specifically listed, may also be considered contraband
