ComCor is dedicated to ensuring the health and safety of our clients, staff, and community. We have implemented safety precautions throughout our facilities to help limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus. In addition, we are working with the county and the state on an ongoing basis to ensure we meet the regulatory standards that have been put in place in response to the pandemic.
Our staff and clients are provided with personal protective equipment and our facilities are disinfected on a regular basis. In addition, we have implemented furloughs when needed so that clients within our medically vulnerable population are better protected.
We are actively testing staff and clients on a weekly basis to help limit any possible risks of exposure. Staff and clients who test positive are isolated to prevent the spread of the virus to others.
We understand that the pandemic effects our client’s ability to work and have lifted rent charges while clients have been in quarantine or isolation. We have done this to try to alleviate some of the financial burden they may experience while being unable to work.
Virtual visitations have been permitted in adapting to the pandemic. Clients have been granted the use of cell phones to communicate with their families during this difficult time, as we understand the need for familial and peer support during treatment. We have also provided clients with the means to participate in virtual therapy sessions when needed, to allow for the continuation of their treatment.
We continue to review and adjust our COVID policies as this pandemic evolves.
