ComCor, Inc. has worked withColoradocolleges and universities as a site for masters level internships site.We have worked with students from University of ColoradoatSprings Colorado, University of Northern Colorado,the University of Phoenix,University of Denver, and The University of Colorado at Denver and Health Services Center. We are also currently working with the Professional School of Psychology as a site for their doctorial program.

• ComCor, Inc. is a rich environment for students to learn. Our students have the opportunity to work in a variety of areas, including our testing department, vocational department,and our Program Services Department, (direct services:substance abuse classes, outpatient to intensive inpatient, sex offender treatment, dual diagnosis groups,anger management, and individual mental health screens/sessions,etc).
• Students learn the following skills:setting professional boundaries,facilitating groups, individual counseling skills, how to deal with crisis situations, clinical report writing,andcomputer data entry of client information.
• Supervision is provided by a variety of Licensed MSWs, LPCs, CACs and PhD clinicians.
• When the students leave their internshipat ComCor, Inc. they have been exposed to many areas in counseling that prepare them well to move to a paid position.

Must have coursework at the Masters or Doctorial level and be elgible for practical clinical work which may include: assessment, evaluation and mental health interventions.

Job requires good judgement and flexibility in working rotating shifts to meet facility requirements. Physical demands include walking, standing, and sitting for various amounts of time. Light lifting may be required.
