Internships

ComCor provides undergraduate and graduate level internships for students interested in working with justice involved individuals.  Internships at ComCor are appropriate for many students working toward degrees in criminal justice, psychology, sociology and counseling.  ComCor can also serve as a site for students working toward a Certified Addiction Counselor designation.

All of ComCor’s internships are unpaid and require a minimum commitment of 5 hours each week.  Potential interns must submit a resume and must be able to pass a criminal background check. All interns will be interviewed before being considered for placement.   Intern positions are limited and ComCor can not guarantee placement in an internship.

Volunteers

ComCor accepts volunteers in many different capacities.  We partner with many different organizations and individuals to provide specialized services for our clients to include treatment services, recreational instruction,  and staff support services.  Volunteers are unpaid and require a minimum commitment of 2 hours each week.  Potential volunteers must be able to pass a criminal background check.  All volunteers will be interviewed before being considered for placement.
