Overview

ComCor’s Community Corrections Center (CCC) oversees programs and services that offer solutions for jail alternatives.  The Center can provide substance abuse monitoring for offenders who live in the community utilizing cutting edge technologies.   Additionally, the Community Corrections Center provides case management and support services for the Department of Criminal Justice and the Department of Corrections in both Colorado Springs and Pueblo. Services are available for law enforcement, judges, attorneys, agencies as well as individuals.

CCC programs and services include:  Day Reporting, ISP, Drug Court ISP, YOS, DYC, and self pay Stand Alone Services.  Clients may also be sentenced directly to ComCor’s Diversion program.  Placement for this program would begin in the residential program of ComCor and offenders can work their way to the Non-Residential placement by exemplifying positive behavioral change.

ComCor’s electronic monitoring services are accredited by the American Correctional Association, and ComCor’s substance abuse monitoring services operate under the auspices of Colorado’s Department of Criminal Justice. The Center for Community Corrections is a service division of ComCor, Inc., a not-for-profit organization.

Jail Alternatives

The Community Corrections Center has multiple electronic monitoring and tracking systems available for defendant and inmate populations. These systems accommodate the needs of the criminal justice system by providing accountability and victim protection. Multiple types and levels of community monitoring are available. Passive GPS surveillance as well as biometric voice tracking are highly effective technological controls used for defendant and inmate home detention and community monitoring. These programs are typically client-paid.

Substance Abuse and Alcohol Monitoring

Sleep Time technology The Community Corrections Center has state-of-the art programs and systems for monitoring substance abuse and alcohol usage. From standard urinalysis to eye-scanning technology, the Community Corrections Center has the ability to monitor on a continuous basis for any illegal substance use by defendants or inmates. CCC also has SleepTime technology that provides substance abuse use information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This technology is an excellent alternative for antabuse administration that may have adverse health consequences for clients. ComCor’s substance abuse monitoring programs can be tailored to meet the needs of criminal justice and treatment agencies
