ComCor’s Electronic Monitoring Program was audited by the American Correctional Association (ACA) for re-accreditation. The two day process involved a tour of the Community Corrections Center, in-depth interviews with staff and an examination of three years of documentation indicating compliance with the 128 standards associated with the Electronic Monitoring Program. The program was in compliance with the three mandatory standards. Of the remaining standards, 120 were found to be in compliance, four were found to be not applicable, and one standard was found to be not in compliance with an overall compliance rating of 99%. The Electronic Monitoring Program received it’s initial accreditation in August of 2003 and is only one of four other electronic monitoring programs world wide to have achieved this honor bestowed by the American Correctional Association’s Commission on Accreditation.
