Company Picnic

 The Annual Company Picnic was held at the June 16th Sky Sox baseball games. The evening started off beautifully with warm weather and some billowy clouds. Over 190 people had tickets and the festivities started off with prize drawings.
The prizes ranging from movie tickets, to food gift cards to a $100 Visa charge cards. The Sky Sox put out the picnic spread including hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken, potato salad and beans. Several employees went through the line at least three times!!
 Right after everyone ate the billowy clouds turned into a wind storm and the warm temperature went away. Some participants were chased away by the weather. However those who braved the storm settled in for a cool but entertaining game.
Some of the highlights were: Paul Guidry Non-Residential Case Manager who represented ComCor on the field in chip the whiffle ball contest, Vic Woolard and Jack Brodsky of the Work Release Program who won prizes in a game of skill where they tossed a ball close to home plate and a couple of staff even went home with a souvenir baseball form the game. The evening finished with a beautiful display of fireworks.
