ComCor's Director of Program and Residential Services, Paul Isenstadt, continues to advocate for community corrections in the state of Colorado. As part of his role as chairman of the Colorado Community Corrections Coalition, (See Colorado Springs, Gazette article) he is spending many days in Denver. He is actively meeting with many heads of state departments and legislators to work with them to ensure the continued mission to promote public safety and treat offenders.
ComCor received official notification of licensure from the state Division of Behavioral Health (DBH). A licensing site visit took place at ComCor, Inc. on December 10, 2008 by the DBH Coordinator of Offender Services, Bennie Lombard. The visit was to renew the license for the Intensive Residential Treatment (IRT) Program and approve some new treatment approaches. The program serves both male and female offenders. ComCor, Inc. received a full three year license which expires on November 13, 2011.
